Lake Mburo Park, is just a short drive and the closet from Kampala, the Park is home for thousands of Burchell’s Zebras. Lake Mburo and the other 4 lakes within the Park attract hippos and crocodiles, and for the birding enthusiasts, this is close to paradise. It is the only place in Uganda that supports massive herds of “impalas”…. Kampala city derives its name from here. Other antelopes easily seen are topi, bushbuck, common duiker, oribi, Defassa waterbuck and Bofor reedbuck. Buffalos, warthogs, bush-pigs and hippopotamus and many others.

Drive through Ugandan towns and villages enjoying the colorful scenery accentuated with hues of green which makes this the evergreen country of Africa. Bottled water provided for you, our driver will answer most questions you might have. There is a chance for you to stop at the Equator and take photographs since you may not have much time on the return way and ‘polar-water experiment’.
Arrive into Park and slow down as you head to the park offices drive into the Park viewing the game and birds. At the park offices, you will be assigned a Uganda Wildlife Authority armed guide. Go for your 3 hour game drive…..amazing views of the Zebras, Buffaloes, a variety of antelopes, warthogs some time Leopards and so much more.
Lunch along the Lake and then afternoon Boat ride along the shore arranged by your driver/guide. View crocodiles and lots of hippos with a variety of birds to see….this is the highlight of your trip. – 2 hours of amazing experience.
Return from the boat ride, we bid farewell to the park’s friendly staff as we depart for Kampala. We drive through a magnificent hilly country and lush cultivation about 4 hour.
You may stop at the Mpabire drum Village local drums and other craft shops and fruit markets.
We will be in Kampala in the evening before for your flight.
